While shopping for herd sires in 2006, Ole came upon a bull named Hitch and knew immediately they needed to own him. Hitch has an impressive phenotype with a thick, square hip and tremendous capacity. His young mother Red YY Goldie 140L, a maternal sister to Red YY Knight 640F, is a solid-footed female with a picture-perfect udder. It is rare to find a herd sire that leaves outstanding sons while still making daughters that are productive with lots of staying power. Hitch has a STAY EPD of +12.
